The kollel, founded some twenty years ago with approximately ten students, now numbers more than one hundred members, the majority of whom are retirees.
Kollel members have the privilege of attending daily classes given by leading lecturers on a wide variety of topics, including the Babylonian Talmud, contemporary issues in Halacha and Aggadah, the weekly Torah portion, Tanach, in-depth study of Midrash and rabbinic literature, the Kuzari, and more.
The high quality of the classes, together with the warm and welcoming social atmosphere, attracts a diverse range of learners from all walks of life, from Jerusalem and beyond.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend a non-committal “taste” session, subject to space availability.
Participation in live-streamed classes from anywhere in the world is available via the “Kol Halashon” website under the “Yeshurun” tab.
Dedications for a day of learning—for blessing and success, good health, or in memory of loved ones—will be displayed during the classes, including online.
